Eilat was the final leg of my Israeli/Palestinian trip. It is a mainly Jewish city. In total spent four weeks in Israel and four weeks in Palestine. Eilat is the southernmost city in Israel and borders both Jordan and Egypt. I spent one night at a hostel before taking a taxi to the Egyptian border.
Leaving Israel and entering Egypt
I took a taxi from the border to Dahab, which is a chill red sea resort village. It was known as a vibrant backpacking community before the Arab Spring scared tourists away. It was actually my second time there. The last time being in the spring of 2011.
